Well Well, rightly or wrongly I have moved over to a CSC, Panasonic’s GF1 to be precise. at present I am with out lens, as I decide what is best to do, and wait for the ‘focus on imaging’ show to arrive, as I might get a bargain.
Meanwhile with the aid of a little Pentax 50mm I’m having a bit of fun.

It has to be said when I started this a year ago I thought I would be a lot better then this, so from now on I will try to post once a week.

as for my photos, not much has changed there although I am taking more photos. I am impulsive and don’t stop long enough to capture a moment right, and worst of all i am still wasting opportunities.

a light stair, is not the best from my visit to London this last weekend, but equally it is not the worst. I must continue, start learning from my mistakes, and stop blaming my equipment.

so it has been some time, and summer is drawing to an end.
Yesterday saw the first outing of my 18-55mm WR, a replacement lens for the old 18-55mm, which with hindsight should have been replaced a while ago.

Ahead of my little visit this friday to the big smoke (London) I thought I would maybe focus my efforts on architecture. I profess an intrest in architecture hell I work in the field, but so far I haven’t posted much, well lets change that right now!

The British Museums’ courtyard is a wonderful, space when I visited earlier this year I tried to capture the iconic image, alas 18mm is just not enough. Once I’ve got over the annoyance of not having enough cash for a wider angle, I’m happy again I like the result.

for a couple of years I have had a Pentax-M 50mm f2 lens ling around, I have never really used it but I thought tonight I might give it a go. I have to say I’m impressed with the little lens, its seen better days but, but the image is good still.

I think I might pay a little more attention to those older manual lens when I see them.

spring is here… well maybe not just yet. Anyway I have finally done it, I have brought a lens, at last it has only taken the better part of 15 years of owning SLRs! yes that is the sad truth I have never brought a lens other then the kit.

So what did i get… just a 50-200mm and nothing special unfortunately my financial standing doesn’t allow it.
